Dear Lions, Leo-Lions and Leos,
As we commence the 2026/2027 Lions Service Year, we do so with renewed purpose, fresh determination, and an unwavering commitment to the values that define District 418 Ghana.
With profound gratitude and a deep sense of responsibility, I humbly accept the honour of serving as your District Governor. I thank you for the confidence you have placed in me, and I pledge to lead with humility, integrity, and a heart devoted to service.
This year, our journey will be guided by the theme:
Service • Fellowship • Friendship
These three pillars will shape our actions, strengthen our unity, and inspire us to create meaningful and lasting impact in the communities we serve.
Together, we will:
- Strengthen our service impact through sustainable and measurable projects.
- Drive membership growth and retention by creating welcoming, vibrant clubs.
- Deepen fellowship by fostering stronger relationships across our district.
- Empower every club through leadership development, collaboration, and innovation.
- Lead with excellence, accountability, and integrity in all that we do.
I encourage every Lion, Leo-Lion, and Leo to actively embrace this journey. Let us move beyond routine service and pursue initiatives that are visible, impactful, and transformative. By working together, we can expand our reach, touch more lives, and leave a legacy that reflects the very best of Lionism.
As the African proverb reminds us, “A broom sweeps well when bunched together.” Our greatest strength lies in our unity, our shared vision, and our collective commitment to service.
As we chart the path forward, let us remain rooted in our mission, united in fellowship, and inspired by friendship. Together, we will build a stronger District 418 Ghana and create a lasting legacy of compassion, hope, and meaningful service to humanity.
Thank you for your continued dedication to our association. May God bless each of you, bless District 418 Ghana, and bless the work we do in service to others.
Yours in Service, Fellowship and Friendship,
Lion Ebo Prah Manson, PMJF, GLCF
